Job Summary & Responsibilities:

The aim of the group is to act as a central point of contact within the firm and the coordinating body for all corporate access events, including bespoke field trips and site visits, sector-specific conferences, road shows and conference calls. This role requires liaising between William Blair investment teams, corporates and the sell-side brokers organizing these interactions.

The Corporate Access Associate will be responsible for originating and managing events across the globe, and also be accountable for the technology solutions that will be implemented to track and record them. S/he will be responsible for the management of access to corporates, experts, and government entities; including on-and off-site meetings, site visits, conference calls, roadshows, investment conferences, and bespoke research trips.
  • Act as point of contact with company management teams (CEOs, CFOs, and other C-suite, Investor Relations, etc.) to request and secure meetings for our investment professionals, representing William Blair in an appropriate and compelling manner, and ensuring a positive user experience.
  • Build external relationships with corporate Investor Relations teams, sell-side Corporate Access Desks, and third party vendors.
  • Develop internal relationships with Investment Group associates to understand their investment philosophy and workflow.
  • Manage logistics associated with corporate access interactions.
  • Maintain data related to corporate access engagement and usage rates by investment teams.
  • Work collaboratively with partners across the organization, including Broker Liaisons, Commission Mgmt, Trading, and Compliance.
  • Track corporate access activity, both William Blair originated and broker provided. Maintain a database of pertinent Corporate Access information for analysis and reporting.
  • Others duties as requested by management.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 2–5 years of financial services experience, and ideally, prior experience in Corporate Access, Investor Relations or related financial services.
  • Strong project/program management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem resolution skills.
