Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Establish the corporate access function within Investment Management to include working with internal investment teams to strategically identify needs and companies to develop relationships with.
  • Establish an efficient and reliable process to coordinate company meeting requests and gather data from our investment staff. 
  • Ensure that company meetings are recorded in William Blair’s Research Management System  and all meeting details are properly coordinated. 
  • Coordinate with investment staff to plan large investor trips, including scheduling company meetings, confirming attendees and travel logistics.
  • Function as primary point-of-contact for sell-side non-deal roadshow meetings that William Blair  investment staff may have an interest in participation (and, as required, coordinate any payments due to sell-side firms for related corporate access services provided).
  • Coordinate with sell-side firms for our attendance of sponsored investor conferences, including access to “one-on-one” company meetings.  Ensure that all company meetings at sell-side conferences are fully accounted for in our meeting records (and, as required, coordinate any payments due to sell-side firms for related corporate access services provided).
  • Oversee on-site management of events where necessary.
  • Produce & distribute periodic and ad hoc reports to summarize company meeting activities for the team and reporting on internal service level agreements.


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to identify and analyze critical issues.
  • Can handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Pro-active approach and flexible to change.
