About the Team:

William Blair’s advisor solutions group is responsible for all of the sales-and-marketing functions related to the distribution of William Blair’s investment products to advisors and third-party platforms in the intermediary channel.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Provides Senior Regional Director with sales and administrative support, including scheduling of meetings, preparing sales kits and presentations, conference materials and updating of databases (CRM) and activity reports.
  • Provides inbound and outbound telephone support, including, qualifying advisors, answering product questions and sending follow-up product information.
  • Proactively uses database and sales reports to identify high potential prospects, qualify leads and schedule appointments for Senior Regional Directors.
  • Participates in other projects as requested by IM management.


  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service or sales capacity.
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Solid understanding of investment products as well as key sales and service requirements of institutional clients and investment advisors.
  • Excellent telephone sales and service skills.
  • Dedication to detail and follow-up.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and high level of personal initiative.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others to accomplish objectives.
