About the Team:

Workplace & Real Estate Management manages all building-related services for the firm, and oversees the Travel and Telecom departments.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  •  Serve as internal administrator and primary point of contact for state of the art and complex/software-driven building systems including:
    • Answering temperature/HVAC related calls and responding appropriately, tracking building HVAC system and supplemental AC/perimeter heaters on stretch floors, working with building engineers to make adjustments, escalating chronic issues to design team and engineers, and maintaining logs and records of calls and temperatures.
    • Managing software intensive Lutron Quantum lighting system including adjustment to lighting schedules for events or business needs, ongoing maintenance, replacing parts and components, monitoring usage and follow up reporting, dimming lights when load shed is requested by utility company.
    • Ongoing inspection and adjustments to Lencore sound masking system.
  • Monitor and evaluate firm’s electrical usage to control costs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for all non-AV/non-technology equipment issues (on-site kitchen equipment, break area appliances, print shop equipment, etc.) and escalate to applicable vendors and partners as appropriate.
  • Provide support as requested to Workplace and Real Estate Project Management team including logistical support for large projects such as construction and office moves, participating in weekly meetings, and maintaining general awareness of group work.
  • Along with the rest of the Facilities team, serve as maintenance and help desk first responder; route, escalate, follow up and delegate requests as necessary
  • Assist with budget projections and monitor spend in Facilities
  • Plan and execute office, asset and employee moves including internal communication and coordination. Update systems and communicate in a timely manner, all changes 
  • Participate in minor construction projects and space commissioning
  • Participate in other projects as requested by management
  • Will be on call to respond to occasional workplace situations that arise on the weekends

Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5+ years building or facilities management experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of critical facilities systems:  HVAC, lighting, electrical, sound masking, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Commits to satisfying internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational, communication, and daily prioritization skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of space planning
  • Fundamental understanding of facilities equipment systems and software
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products.
