About the Team:

The Marketing and Product Support team at William Blair strives to seek out value added tasks that will increase the efficiency of our Investment Banking execution teams by reducing the administrative burden placed on junior bankers as well as provide additional needed support to senior bankers.  The team executes repeatable processes to provide support on active deal related projects, Salesforce/prospecting projects, standard marketing related projects, and other ad hoc/administrative and market development projects as needed.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

Provide prospecting and marketing support to senior bankers:
  • Create and/or assist in development of standard / introductory pitch books
  • Compiling of Meeting Profiles
  • Update industry group boiler slides and banker bios
  • Assist deal team with meeting note/data/prospecting entries in SalesForce
  • Miscellaneous other marketing or project-related work to support the group
Provide deal execution support for deal teams including but not limited to:
  • Find/confirm contact information for potential buyers
  • Address instruction letters, and enter updates into SalesForce
  • Call log build out and updates in SalesForce
  • Proofread work
  • Anti-Money Laundering Process Support
  • Deal toy design and management

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Strong time management and project management skills are required
  • Ability to exercise judgment and manage projects on self-sufficient basis
  • Ability to juggle multiple work streams at the same time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrates clear, effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desire to work and excel in a team environment
  • Committed to satisfying internal and external customers
  • Bachelor’s degree required, minimum GPA 3.0
  • Exposure to CRM systems desired, SalesForce preferred
  • Previous experience in a professional environment
