Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Provide Training and direction on workflow process related to portfolio rebalancing tools. 

  • Trade and provide oversight of transaction costs and operational risks across multiple asset classes. 

  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Front Office staff and infrastructure support staff. 

  • Train team members and employees on Middle Office systems and processes and review work activities to ensure alignment with risk controls and regulatory requirements. 

  • Collaborate with Information Technology to define technology requirements for system enhancements. 

  • Participate in other projects as requested by management

  •  Leadership skills: Proven coaching and performance management skills, with an aptitude for fostering a collaborative team-oriented environment 

  •  Analytical skills: Highly analytical and investigative skills, with experience in using objective data to drive strategic recommendations 

  • Proactive, self-starter with a motivation to learn quickly 

  • Communication skills: Strong combination of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of NFS custodial system is a plus. 

  • Working knowledge of Envestnet - Tamarac Trading or Fidelity - Fee Based Tools is a plus. 

  • Client Relationship skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external clients 

  • College graduate or equivalent work experience 

  • 8+ years’ experience in brokerage firm or financial institution in the operations area or portfolio accounting area.
