Private Wealth Management’s financial advisors work with high-net-worth individuals and their families, business owners, endowments, and foundations to provide quality investment advice and thoughtful wealth management solutions. Advisors rely on the global resources and services of the firm, including William Blair’s renowned equity research, wealth planning services, and consulting services group, to help their clients achieve their goals, strengthen their legacies, and enrich their communities. As of March 31, 2018, William Blair Private Wealth Management oversees $32.4 billion in client assets. Job Summary & Responsibilities:

Perform various operational and administrative activities in the Private Client Advisors Department, working directly with our Registered Portfolio Associates and/or Financial Advisors. The position is project-oriented, and assignments/responsibilities will be varied. Examples include:

  • Taking notes and summarizing investment calls
  • Assisting with research on potential investment opportunities
  • General market and economic research for client meetings and pitches
  • Helping to manage existing business more efficiently

Qualifications:

  • Flexible mindset and able to manage different projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree. GPA of 3.0+ required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Interest in Private Wealth Management. 
  • Desire to work in a team environment.
