Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  •  Lead small team of direct reports and temp/consultants focused on maintaining and growing Salesforce and other IT initiatives for Investment Banking.
  • Provide thought leadership on technologies to help drive business results.
  • Prepare project plans and manage resources while documenting business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, workflow, and data requirements.
  • Coordinate development and implementation efforts with internal IT resources and/or external vendors. 
  • Act as a business analyst, supporting the business process and ensuring processes are followed related to the use of Investment Banking technology initiatives.  
  • Review status and issues with senior management and provide technical assistance for business users and management.
  • Identify best practices and encourage adoption through direct and indirect training methods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree valued
  • Financial services or professional services industry experience is required, Investment Banking experience strongly preferred12+ years of experience as a consultant, business analyst and/or manager of technology projects
  • 6+ years hands-on experience with demonstrated proficiency of Salesforce and associated technologies
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Experience working directly with senior investment professionals and technology vendors 
  • Experience with SQL and/or SOQL, BI tools
  • Ability to document functional requirements based on summary of interviews with business owners
  • Cross functional project coordination
  • Delivers clear, effective communication with senior professionals 
  • Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks
  • Organized – ability to multi-task
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Works cooperatively with others to accomplish objectives
  • Demonstrates initiative and persistence – is self-motivated, thrives in high pressure environment
