Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices in an accurate and timely manner. Review invoices for proper documentation and approvals, process payments, post entries to the accounts payable system, match up checks to invoices and distribute checks to vendors. Coordinate weekly scanning of accounts payable invoices.
  • Review daily general ledger to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain accounts payable records and reports.
  • Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and accounts payable files.
  • Gather information for and prepare supporting documents for sales and use tax returns, including the 1099 process.
  • Process daily expense report downloads.
  • Resolving accounts payable issues among internal departments as well as outside agencies.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years general accounting experience required
  • Accounts Payable experience preferred
  • Experience with general ledger software NetSuite and Chrome River preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel required
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Working knowledge of computer software, general ledger and financial systems
  • Detail oriented with a good math aptitude
  • Ability to prioritize demands and manage workload with minimal supervision
  • Desire to work in a team environment
