Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Produce complex, high visibility reports. Ensure firm quality and formatting standards are followed and that reports are produced in an efficient manner.
  • Synthesize information from various sources to create reports. Validate data and resolve data discrepancies to ensure accuracy. Review reports created by other team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to firm standards.
  • Coordinate timely completion of reporting requests to ensure end user needs are met.
  • Serve as an escalation point for questions and issues from internal and external sources pertaining to supported reports.
  • Meet with department leadership to stay abreast of client reporting needs and gauge internal and external satisfaction with reporting work product.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory reporting trends and requirements. Inform relevant firm parties of changes. Incorporate changes into firm work product, processes and procedures.
  • Assist in designing, creating and maintaining new report templates.
  • Create complex and/or high visibility ad hoc reports to meet requests from clients and various internal departments.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of firm level data flows across firm-wide systems.
  • Identify and implement improvements to current procedures.
  • Guide and mentor analyst staff.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 5-7 years of financial services experience required.
  • At least 3 years of client reporting and/or accounting reporting in a financial services environment preferred.
  • Expertise in quantitative reasoning, problem solving and analysis.
  • Extremely high level of detail orientation.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to guide and mentor team.
  • Demonstrates initiative and persistence.
  • Ability to exercise independent thought and judgment and adapt to new tasks with little notice.
  • Commits to satisfying internal and external customers.
  • Delivers clear, effective communication and commits to understanding others.

  • Technical expertise for systems/software applications.
  • Advanced understanding of the MS Office Suite of applications.
